What is adaptiveSense® technology?
adaptiveSense® is AVA Intelligent’s proprietary sensing and control architecture. It combines distance measurements, intelligent software algorithms, and configurable operating parameters to enable smarter detection and product-specific control in sanitary applications.
How is adaptiveSense® different from conventional infrared sensors?
Rather than relying solely on reflected signal intensity, AVA’s ToF-based adaptiveSense® systems use distance measurements and intelligent software processing to interpret user presence and movement, helping reduce unintended activations and improve detection flexibility.
Can AVA urinal sensors be configured without a remote controller?
Yes. Supported adaptiveSense® urinal flushers allow users to adjust settings such as detection distance, flush volume, and operating modes through close-range interaction with the sensor. No separate remote controller is required.
What intelligent flushing functions are available?
Depending on the model and configuration, AVA urinal flushers support adjustable flush volumes, Cleaning Mode, automatic hygiene flushing after prolonged inactivity, and optional Overuse Mode (Stadium Mode) for periods of frequent use.

Applicable AVA urinal flusher systems support four AA alkaline batteries and/or a 6V DC power source. Battery life depends on usage frequency and operating conditions, while power configurations may vary by product model.
